Healthy Living

What is Healthy Living?

Healthy Living can be interpreted in many different ways, some people may see excessive amounts of exercise and extremely strict diets as healthy. On the other hand others may decide to avoid exercise and believe relaxation and eating whatever you want is healthy living or maybe that's just living. The truth is a combination of these is the best policy, this is what is known as Moderation.

Moderation

Living healthily is quite simple and moderation is the best way to describe it. Moderate amounts of exercise, eating moderate amounts of the things you like, whether it be chocolate or even the odd pizza, this coupled with a well balanced diet including fruit and vegetables healthy living can be very enjoyable.

Too many people see being healthy as a chore, this is down to how confused people are with various diets in the press and miracle training regimes. It doesn't have to be difficult, if you want a well toned muscular physique or want to lose a lot of weight, granted this does take more effort. If you simply want to maintain a healthy lifestyle then a basic understanding of nutrition and how it contributes to general wellness is all that is required.

Exercise
